Licensed Physician Assistant (Médico Asistente)

We are a group of professionals dedicated to providing patient-centered care at patients' homes with a special focus on education and preventive medicine, diagnosing and counseling patients on their medical conditions, and setting up effective long-term treatment plans for their chronic conditions, among others. We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing and dedicated team. Our PA will visit patients at their homes and assist in the service provided in our offices. Position will require traveling on the North Area and also could have office hours with the medical team. Essential Functions: Assist in the Patient evaluation under a Licensed MD Document relevant diagnosis coding Develop risk-adjustment (RAF) improvement strategies Among other tasks General Requirements: Doctoral Degree in Medicine or Physician Assistant from an Accredited University. Assistant Physician License from the Puerto Rico Medical Board. Knowledge in Medical Record Optimization for RAF, HEDIS, among others, is preferred. A compassionate personality and a proven commitment to providing quality patient care are a must. Availability to travel and visit patients homes.
