Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of fried items according to established recipes and menu specifications
Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presented attractively for guests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards
Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination
Support food preparation tasks such as marinating, seasoning, and portioning ingredients for efficient service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service hours
Follow all safety protocols related to knife skills, cooking equipment, and fire hazards
Contribute to a positive team environment by serving as a reliable and proactive team member
Assist with catering events or special functions when needed, ensuring quality service from start to finish
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants or the food industry
Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques specific to grilling and meat preparation
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
Experience with menu planning and meal preparation in fine dining or similar settings
Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating attention to special dietary needs
Excellent food service skills with an understanding of serving standards in high-quality establishments
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Familiarity with catering operations and large-scale food production is advantageous
