Quality Engineer- NQA1

The position entails the need for a Quality Engineer who will be responsible for supporting and overseeing the quality function for significant projects.Requirements: Lead ASME NQA-1 indoctrination and certification activities Prepare and review NQA-1 required procedures Act as the primary project quality contact for a specific client Lead technical root cause analysis and corrective action Conduct periodic fabrication and assembly inspections Support internal audit activities (NQA-1, ISO 9001) Develop project ITPs and Quality Plans Manage NCR collection and resolution per internal and 10CFR21 requirements Conduct supplier evaluations Develop and maintain any necessary metrics Engage with vendors to address nonconforming product and enhance their performance Support Quality inspectors Minimal travel may be necessaryRequired Skills: Ability to comprehend electrical schematic and mechanical drawings Strong presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience in using RCA methodologies Familiarity with NQA-1 Standard: 2008 with 2009 supplement Certified QMS lead auditor certification recommendedRequired Education & Experience: 3+ years of experience working as a Quality Engineer or Specialist in a facility with a certified or compliant NQA-1 quality system Associate's or Bachelor's Degree requiredPowered by JazzHRjBXygwLRkI
