Print Production and Finishing

Growing company seeks a motivated individual to become a part of the production team. This full-time position includes screen printing, digital printing and packaging. Key Responsibilities Operate large format digital printers and mechanical screen presses to produce high quality printed materials Assist with screen printing processes, including coating, exposing, reclaiming screens, splicing artwork and mixing inks Operate a variety of finishing equipment including: corner rounder, router, bindery machines, punch machines, laminator, etc Use Adobe Illustrator for basic file setup, editing, and preparation for production Take accurate measurements using tools such as tape measures and calipers Operate computers for printing, file management, and production workflow tasks Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures Assemble components of certain products using tools such as drills and related hand tools Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a work order and specification sheet and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards Job Requirements Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and core values Reliable, punctual with a strong work ethic, and committed to high quality work Able to stand for 8 hrs per day and lift up to 50lbs Maintain production rate consistency; meet or exceed established minimum rates per hour Follow precise instructions with strong attention to detail Ability to work as a part of a team and also autonomously Qualifications Basic computer skills required Basic math skills Print industry experience preferred but not required Basic understanding on how to read a blueprint Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
