Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Duties: - Operate a propane forklift or lift truck to move, stack, and retrieve materials - Use a pallet jack to load and unload goods from trucks or containers - Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations while operating equipment - Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities and ensure accurate inventory - Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed - Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and report any mechanical issues - Maintain a clean and organized work area Experience: - Previous experience operating a propane forklift or similar equipment is required - Familiarity with order picking processes is preferred - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed - Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
