Lead Preschool Teacher in Day Care

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Infant/Toddler Head Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, a deep understanding of child development, and a commitment to providing exceptional care and education for our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate curriculum that addresses the cognitive, emotional, social, and physical needs of preschool children.
Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, discovery, and learning.
Supervise and mentor assistant teachers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure a high-quality learning environment.
Regularly assess and document each child's growth and development using a variety of assessment tools and techniques.
Communicate effectively with families, providing regular updates on their child's development and progress, and addressing any concerns or questions in a timely manner.
Collaborate with fellow staff members, sharing ideas, resources, and best practices to promote a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with the latest research, techniques, and trends in early childhood education.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines, as well as school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Strong understanding of child development, early childhood education principles, and age-appropriate learning activities for preschoolers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families, and staff.
