Process Automation Analyst
Job DescriptionResponsible for the analysis, design, delivery, and maintenance of process automation across the enterprise. Works with internal clients to capture "as-is" processes and map "to-be" processes. Brings business process knowledge to ensure processes are reengineered and made ready for automation. Supports the development, testing, and deployment of automated solutions. The Business Process Automation Analyst will also be called upon to assist with managing the Virtual Workforce of robots and automation, including acting as a team leader for the robots, and reporting as required on the performance, throughput, and accuracy of the robots which have been built.Essential FunctionsRobotic Workforce Management: Ensure oversight and uptime of the Ryder robotic workforce, ensuring appropriate reporting on daily results is complete and accurate. Initial first level support and triage of issues with robots in productionRequirement Gathering: Conducts and documents automation feasibility analysis. Produces keystroke level process maps and designs/builds automation in one or more tools. Understands the steps in the process and any complications or dependencies. Presents summaries of findings to leaders, technology partners, and client, walking them through "to-be" designs of automated processesRequirement Delivery: Work closely with internal team to ensure requirements are accurately mapped and suitable for development. Track progress daily or weekly as appropriate, provide updates for sprint reviews and in-progress demonstrations to SME's and leadershipOpportunity Discovery: Work with Automation Center of Excellence (COE) management to identify, document, and prioritize automation opportunities. Work with SMEs to understand end-to-end processes, identify automation blockers and suitability of the process for automationStay up to date on automation tools, best practices, and process improvement across multiple industries and technical tools.
