Facilities Manager LHH is seeking a Facilities Manager to join one of our clients in Ellenwood, Ga. The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operation, maintenance, safety, and reliability of a mission-critical teleport facility supporting 24/7 operations. This role manages vendors, contractors, and internal partners to ensure all building systems, infrastructure, and security functions remain fully operational, compliant, and available at all times. The Facilities Manager acts as the central point of contact for all facility-related needs and plays a key role in preventive maintenance, access coordination, space planning, safety compliance, and facility improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Facilities & Infrastructure Operations Oversee maintenance and repair activities for critical building systems, including: Electrical systems HVAC Plumbing Fire detection and suppression systems Backup power systems (UPS and generators) Monitor preventive maintenance programs and ensure service completion within required timelines Support facility inspections, audits, and operational readiness reviews Vendor & Contractor Oversight Coordinate site access and work schedules for vendors and contractors Escort and monitor on-site service providers to ensure safety and compliance Review completed work, address deficiencies, and escalate issues as necessary Support invoice validation, service documentation, and vendor performance tracking Safety, Security & Regulatory Compliance Assist in maintaining compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational standards Ensure access control, visitor management, and security protocols are consistently followed Maintain facility documentation, permits, certifications, and compliance records Support emergency response efforts and assist with incident documentation and follow-up Space & Asset Management Support space planning initiatives, office moves, and workspace allocations Maintain accurate inventory of facility tools, equipment, and supplies Track facility assets and support lifecycle planning and replacement efforts Administrative & Financial Support Assist with purchase requests, P-card activity, and facilities-related budget tracking Maintain work order records, vendor files, and facility documentation Support capital projects, infrastructure enhancements, and site improvement initiatives Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred 2+ years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or a related role Experience coordinating vendors and contractors Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Ability to work onsite in a 24/7 operational environment
