Youth Basketball Coach

Location: San Marcos, CA 92078 Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays Only Compensation: Stipend paid at the end of the season (6–7 weeks) Job Description: We are currently looking for a Youth Basketball Coach to join our team for a part-time, seasonal coaching opportunity in the 92078 area (San Marcos, CA). This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for basketball and experience working with kids in recreational or camp settings. Responsibilities: Coach and supervise youth basketball players (elementary to middle school age) Run weekly practice sessions focused on skill development, teamwork, and fun Create a positive and safe environment for all participants Work collaboratively with program staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Schedule: Tuesdays: 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM or 3:45 PM – 4:45 PM Thursdays: Same time frame as above Season lasts approximately 6–7 weeks Requirements: Prior experience coaching or working with kids in basketball camps, rec leagues, or school teams Reliable transportation to and from the San Marcos (92078) area Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Must be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays only Compensation: A flat stipend will be paid at the end of the season Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 2 per week Work Location: In person
