Software Engineer – AWS / SRE / DevOps

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Engineer with strong experience in Java or Python, along with AWS and SRE/DevOps experience. The candidate will work on modernizing existing Python applications, rewriting them into Java or Pega, and migrating applications to AWS.Responsibilities:Enhance and modernize existing Python applications.Rewrite Python applications into Java or Pega.Develop new features and enhancements.Set up environments and support application deployments.Support AWS migration, production operations, and troubleshooting.Collaborate with engineering and technical teams.Take ownership, work independently, and proactively resolve issues.Required SkillsStrong hands-on Java OR Python experience.AWS experience.Spring Boot experience preferred.Experience with legacy Python applications and modernization.SRE / DevOps / production engineering experience.Hands-on experience with deployments and environment setup.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Nice to Have: Pega experience.Ideal Candidate:A self-driven, hands-on engineer who can step into an existing environment, understand the code, build enhancements, manage deployments, and work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
