ResponsibilitiesManage 5-10 engineers with full ownership of performance reviews, mentorship, and career developmentWrite production code and build core infrastructure horizontally across the platformConduct design reviews and code reviews to maintain a high technical barOwn hiring loops - interviewing candidates, making final decisions, and shaping the engineering teamDrive execution on ambiguous, fast-moving projects in a rapidly scaling AI data infrastructure companyRequirements6-10 years of experience building and maintaining platform infrastructure with full-stack capabilityExperience at a startup, or at a company specialising in data at scaleHands-on coding within the last 2 yearsExperience managing a team of ICs and conducting code and performance reviewsFull-stack capability - Node.js / Python, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, ElasticsearchWilling to be in office 5 days/week in San FranciscoTech StackPython, TypeScript, Node.js, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch$100M ARR in 14 months.
