We are well-funded, growing fast, and building a company that is changing the market — it will be challenging, fun and exciting.About The RoleAs a UI Developer, you will be a key member of our team responsible for implementing stunning, user-friendly web applications. Using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React and Svelte, you will translate designs from in-house designers and customers into high-quality, enterprise-grade web experiences. This position works in a collaborative team environment and may also involve engaging with clients to plan and execute strategic branding requirements. This position is ideal for a visually-focused developer who prioritizes crafting elegant and maintainable CSS alongside strong JavaScript skills.How you will contribute:Develop and maintain core products with a strong focus on usability, design, and responsivenessCollaborate closely with Product Management, Project Managers, and designers to deliver high-quality products to our customersDevelop advanced, branded prototypes for new features and customer experiencesEngage directly with new and existing clients to discuss and plan solutions for their branding requirementsEnsure all code is maintainable, scalable, and cross-browser compatibleFamiliarity with web accessibility (WCAG) standards and best practices in all applicationsParticipate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of high-quality, maintainable codeRequired Experience/ Skills:3+ years of professional web development experienceStrong, working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CSS preprocessors like SASSGood experience with front-end development using modern vanilla JavaScript and frameworks, particularly React and SvelteProven ability to write maintainable, scalable, responsive, and cross-browser codeExperience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or PhotoshopStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Agile software development methodologiesFamiliarity with version control systems, such as GitTakes ownership, is self-motivated, and a creative thinkerPreferred Qualifications:Works well in a fast-paced, pivoting environmentA collaborative team playerExperience with client-facing conversations and strategic planningExperience with Web ComponentsExperience with email templating and web page themingKnowledge of front-end testing frameworksWhy work at RainFocus?At RainFocus we delight millions of attendees at large-scale events by delivering better insights, experiences, and marketing.
