Shipping/Inventory Coordinator
Job Title: Shipping/Inventory Coordinator Location: Overland Park, KS Type: Contract Compensation: $27/hr Overview ResponsibilitiesSupport shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities by performing operational tasks in accordance with established procedures and guidelinesPrepare materials for shipment, including packing and completing required shipping documentationCoordinate domestic and international shipments via LTL, air freight, and small packages following standard shipping practicesFile customs documentation and certifications as neededObtain and maintain dangerous goods (DG) shipping certification for applicable shipmentsReceive, store, and shelve materials, ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained in ERP systemsPerform data entry and transaction processing within ERP systems to support inventory accuracyPull, kit, and process materials in support of production work ordersSupport cycle counts and inventory audits by locating, counting, and verifying materialsAssist with movement of materials between internal departments, off-site warehouses, and sister divisionsMaintain cleanliness and organization of inventory and shipping areasCommunicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operationsFollow established processes, safety requirements, and company policies Requirements High school diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years of related experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory operationsBasic understanding of shipping processes and inventory control practicesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentationAbility to follow procedures and prioritize tasks effectivelyEffective communication and collaboration skillsProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and WordFamiliarity with shipping systems like FedEx, UPS, DHLMust be a US Person or authorized under ITAR/EAR regulationsSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
