Senior Accountant - $110K + Bonus

We service our clients primarily in the NYC Metro area, as well nationally through our AAFA and NPA networks.Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their onsite finance team in Union County, NJ. This position will be responsible for daily and monthly financial activities within the department. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with financial statement preparation and review, journal entries, monthly closing processes, and inventory-based accounting processes.This is an on-site position requiring this person to be in the office 5 days a week.Responsibilities:Financial statement preparation, review, and analysisAccount reconciliations and consolidationsManage and oversee the month-end close processesPreparation and review of journal entriesAssist with internal and external audits, providing documentation as neededAssist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis as neededQualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance3+ years of accounting experienceProficient in Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with acute attention to detailStrong work ethic, positive attitude, and a team-player
