Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician in Critical Access Hospital We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician for a 6-month locum tenens contract in our Critical Access Hospital in Pond Gap, West Virginia. This is a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive emergency care in a supportive, community-focused environment with no on-call duties. Opportunity Highlights Contract: 6 months, with potential for extension. Start Date: February 1, 2026. Schedule: 10-12 shifts per month, exclusively night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with a choice of 12 or 24-hour shifts. Department: 5-bed Emergency Department (within a 25-bed hospital). Patient Volume: Approximately 5,500 annual patient visits across all age groups. Required Qualifications Board Certification: Required (ABEM or Family/Internal Medicine with extensive EM experience). Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant emergency setting. Licensure: Active State License required (IMLC licensing is acceptable). Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and DEA registration.
