Tallavera is seeking a local contract Outpatient Radiology Technician Level II for a local contract job in Rochester, New York.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Radiology TechnicianDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalDuration: 24 weeks38 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, days, eveningsEmployment Type: Local ContractPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Radiologic Technologist (RT) is medical personnel who preform diagnostic imaging for invasive procedures, administers and records isotope dosage in accordance with established protocol and regulations. The RT is responsible for patient positioning, obtaining a quality diagnostic image, equipment protocol, safety, radiation protection and basic patient care. The Radiologic Technologist reports to the Clinical DirectorGENERALOversee radiologic servicesPerforms diagnostic imagingWorks with Radiation Safety Officer, Consultant Radiologist and Administrator to maintain safe environment during use of c-arm.
