Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Bus Driver, located in Boston, MA. The Bus Driver will be responsible for operating MBTA buses safely and efficiently, transporting passengers along designated routes. The role includes managing schedules, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, assisting passengers when necessary, and performing routine vehicle inspections. Providing excellent customer service is a key aspect of this role. Qualifications Experience in Bus and Truck Driving, with knowledge of defensive driving techniquesSuccessful completion of driver training and the ability to maintain all necessary certifications and licensesStrong Customer Service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with passengersFamiliarity with relevant safety protocols and traffic regulationsAttention to detail for performing routine bus inspections and reporting issuesAbility to adapt to schedules and work in various weather conditionsHigh school diploma or equivalent, with additional related training or certifications being a plusPrevious experience in public transportation operations is advantageous
