Acquisition Program Management Support Senior
MTSI is seeking anEngineer Seniorto support AFLCMC/WA at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The successful candidate will provide engineering expertise in direct support of an Integrated Capabilities Team (ICT), a horizontally oriented team responsible for aligning, integrating, and synchronizing capabilities across multiple platforms. This role supports new and ongoing AFLCMC/WA Fighters and Advanced Aircraft projects and requires engagement across all aspects of the acquisition lifecycle, including technology development, engineering integration, program control, foreign disclosure, test and deployment, configuration management (CM), production and manufacturing, quality assurance, and logistics. The ICT environment requires candidates capable of applying strong engineering principles in a cross-platform, enterprise-focused context rather than traditional single-platform stovepipes. Ideal candidates will demonstrate mastery of the DoW acquisition process, as well as deep knowledge on current and future activities including studies and initiatives. The successful candidate shall have the experience, and skill sets necessary to independently execute systems engineering support tasks. Experience contributing to horizontally integrated systems, cross-cutting capability development, or enterprise-level acquisition efforts is highly desirable.ResponsibilitiesApply working knowledge of DoW acquisition processes and analytical methods to gather, analyze, and present information needed by program managers, ICT leads, and other stakeholders supporting horizontally integrated capability development.Use integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning skills to support technical and acquisition activities across multiple functional areas, helping ICTs align capability efforts across platforms.Identify issues and recommend practical solutions related to acquisition effectiveness, compliance, and crossplatform integration within the ICT environment.Assist in developing and drafting clear and accurate acquisition documentation that supports ICT objectives, crosssystem applicability, and enterprise alignment.Interpret relevant department and center digital transformation guidance and support implementation efforts tailored to ICT portfolio needs.Organize, track, and coordinate assigned program management tasks and ICT activities to help maintain synchronized capability development across platforms.Support program/project integration activities, including ICT-driven horizontal integration, crossplatform coordination, and collaboration with multiple stakeholder groups.Develop and update a program's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring dependencies account for ICT activities and crossplatform integration requirements.Apply program management and basic systems engineering principles to ICT projects and acquisition challenges, providing informed input to project leads and engineers.Assist program leadership and ICT leads by providing analysis and recommendations related to capability development, demonstrations, and integration across multiple systems.Monitor program information assurance activities associated with classified networks and provide status updates to the program manager and ICT leadership as required.Support the program director and ICT leadership during highlevel meetings, reviews, integration forums, inspections, conferences, and milestone events tied to crossplatform capability development.Coordinate interactions and maintain productive working relationships between the program office, ICTs, government organizations, contractors, and higher headquarters to support horizontally integrated capability initiatives.Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholder across multiple systems, technologies, and organizations. Work jointly with other cross-functional ICTs.QualificationsPossess a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant Department of War (DoW) work experienceHave no less than three (3) years' experience in a Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environment within the last eight (8) yearsMS/MA or higher in business administration, management, accounting, finance, logistics, or a STEM discipline or an MBA.oIn lieu of a MS/MA or higher or an MBA, a BS/BA degree and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience with the DoW, other government agency, or DoW contractor.Clearance RequirementsMust possess an active DoD Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI eligibilityU.S. CitizenshipInteresting Work
