Experience in ASC or Surgical billing is strongly recommended. Job Summary And QualificationsAs a Billing Specialist for our surgery centers, you will be responsible for providing and contributing to the company’s mission, vision, and values by accurately billing all diagnosis and procedures from medical records with proper ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes. You will be responsible for daily charges, preparing and submitting claims to third party payers, applying contractual adjustments, credit balance reviews and audits.What you will do in this role:You will assign diagnosis and procedure codes for each caseYou will submit and upload insurance and patient billsYou will apply contractual adjustmentsYou will monitor logs to make sure claims are submitted and received properlyYou will correct rejected claims and re-bill in a timely mannerYou will follow-up with insurance companies to ensure receipt of bills within 28 daysWhat qualifications will you need:One year of experience in billing in a medical business officeBenefitsHCA Healthcare, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
