Head Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach

Previous coaching experience (minimum of three years). Preferred coaching experience at the varsity or collegiate level, but not required.Knowledge of the rules of volleyball.Plan practices to drive instruction towards the needs of the team.Ability to communicate with players of various levels.Maintains competency in rules, rule interpretations, match procedures, coaching techniques, and general information about all aspects of the sport.Oversees the whole program team to help develop players at younger levels.Participates in a preseason parent/guardian orientation meeting for all levels to review eligibility, athletic code/expectations, team rules, and risk factors for all athletes.Promotes the program through media - accurate reporting of scores to the local media while maintaining a positive relationship with the local mediaAbility to teach and work with athletes of various ages and skill levels.First Aid/AED/CPR certification or ability to obtain before the season begins.Concussion certification or ability to obtain before the season begins.
