This role involvescollaboration with Creative Team to develop concepts and creative plans. The Production Designer will also beresponsible for being present and providing art direction on shoot days. The Production Designer will beresponsible for recruiting and maintaining relationships with design contractors and managing asset storagespaces, including the prop room, studio storage, and external warehouse. The Production Designer utilizes their skillset to deliver outcomes that align with the direction of their team tofurther Life.Church’s mission and to reach people for Christ.What You'll DoDevelop and Execute Production DesignManage the five key disciplines of production, including set design, props, wardrobe, hair, and makeupWork closely with the creative team in meetings to define project vision and directionPartner with filmmakers, photographers, and producers to maintain aesthetic integrity throughout the shootComplete projects within established budgets and timelinesCreate wardrobe and set design lookbooks to ensure project vision is consistently executedManage and organize prop inventory and identify needs, sourcing them through purchasing, creation, or contractor hiring as requiredManage hair and makeup supplies and maintain wardrobe roomsExecute hair and makeup on set, hiring contractors when necessary to assistStay current with trends in fashion, makeup, and interior design is support of quarterly trend forecastSkills Needed to SucceedAbility to self-motivate, make independent decisions and problem solve with innovationEffective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to changeExcellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnershipsEffective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure and provide vision to projectsAbility to create and clearly present design pitchesHigh School Diploma or GED1+ years of professional experienceRelevant design experience requiredBenefits We OfferPaid parental leave, including maternity, paternity, and adoption leaveGenerous employer-paid leave for the use of vacation, sick time, and other qualifying reasons. Innovative and comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance that provides team members with useful resources and savings to navigate their holistic health. Life insurance policy provided for all staff members at 2x annual salary at no cost.
