The facility offers comprehensive gastroenterology services as part of their specialty care program and maintains a Level 3 trauma designation, providing essential medical services to the region.Opportunity:Physician - Internal Medicine - GastroenterologyJob Details:• Permanent position with recently increased rates (as of 11.1.23)• Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices• Conduct procedures with PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)• Perform esophageal dilatation/manometry procedures• Complete small bowel biopsies as required• Conduct lower GI endoscopy procedures including flexible sigmoidoscopy• Perform colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp• Experience with endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) required• Board certification required with current BLS certification• Fellowship trained with 0-1 patient encounters per shift• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days• Position starts ASAP with ongoing durationCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
