Maintenance Planner
The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler partners closely with Maintenance, Operations, and Production teams to coordinate maintenance activities in alignment with production requirements while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance are maintained.ResponsibilitiesPlan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance work orders for equipment, facilities, and utilitiesCollaborate with Supervisors, Leads, and Technicians to define labor requirements, materials, tools, and contractor support needed to complete workAlign maintenance activities with production schedules, shutdown periods, and operational priorities to minimize disruptionDevelop, maintain, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance schedulesTrack maintenance performance metrics and support KPI reporting and analysisEnsure all maintenance work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirementsCoordinate scheduling of outside contractors and service providers as requiredMonitor spare parts availability and support inventory planning and controlMaintain accurate and timely records of maintenance activities within CMMS/EAM systemsSupport troubleshooting efforts through organization and review of technical data and equipment historyQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required2–3 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or industrial maintenance environmentExperience in a manufacturing or production environment requiredStrong communication and coordination skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsThis position is located in South Carolina and will require relocation
