Quality Engineer – Aerospace & Semiconductor | Precision Machine ShopWe’re hiring a hands-on Quality Engineer who knows how a machine shop actually runs. This role is responsible for creating quality plans, CMM programming, and GD&T interpretation for tight-tolerance aerospace and semiconductor parts.If you can read a drawing, program a CMM, build inspection plans that make sense, and support production without excuses, you’ll fit right in.What You’ll DoProgram and release CMM inspection programs (Verisurf or Calypso preferred)Build inspection plans for FAI, in-process, final, and receiving inspectionInterpret complex drawings and apply GD&T correctlyPrepare and approve AS9102 First Article InspectionsOwn calibration and measurement controlSupport audits, customer returns, and corrective actionsWork directly with Manufacturing and Engineering to manage risk and keep parts movingWhat We’re Looking ForStrong CMM programming and inspection planning experienceSolid, practical GD&T knowledgeBackground in aerospace, semiconductor, or precision machining preferredAS9100 experience preferredEngineering degree, Associate degree with experience, or equivalent hands-on expertiseThis Is NotA paperwork-only quality roleA desk job removed from the shop floorIf you want ownership, accountability, and the chance to make quality work the right way, apply now.Compliance StatementThis job description does not state or imply that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
