Housekeeping Room Attendant - Amicalola Falls Lodge

Under the direct supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, this position ensures clean, orderly and attractive conditions of Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge. Essential functions of the position:Sorts, folds and carries linensChanges linens and makes bed properly and according to standardsRestocks cart and empties vacuum cleanersFollows accounting and re-stocking procedures for in-room amenitiesReplenishes room supplies such as drinking glasses and writing suppliesCleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperiesDusts furnitureWashes walls, ceilings and woodworkWashes windows, door panels and sillsEmpties wastebasketsReplenishes bathroom suppliesReplaces light bulbsTransports trash and waste to disposal areaFollows all Lost and Found procedures with guest items left behindCleans bathrooms, including the shower curtain, walls, mirrors, tub toilet and floorCleans under and behind bedCleans closet area. Replaces iron and ironing board; cleans items as neededMakes a final check to ensure all items are in the roomPerforms Public Space Attendant/Laundry Attendant duties as needed Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
