This position plays a critical role in ensuring exceptional customer experience while supporting profitable growth of construction technology solutions.The Branch Manager serves as the operational leader for the branch and works closely with SITECH sales representatives, technology support teams, dealership personnel, and customers to ensure efficient delivery and support of SITECH products and servicesEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesBranch Operations & LeadershipLead daily branch operations including parts, service scheduling, work orders, inventory, and customer supportEnsure compliance with company policies, financial controls, safety standards, and operational proceduresPromote a customer-focused culture emphasizing responsiveness, accountability, and professionalismServe as the primary point of leadership for branch employeesCustomer & Sales SupportSupport SITECH sales representatives by coordinating equipment preparation, order fulfillment, pricing support, and documentationMaintain strong working relationships with contractors, dealer sales teams, and internal departmentsSupport customer issue escalation and resolution related to technology, service, and operationsRepresent SITECH professionally within the local construction and technology marketTechnology & Service CoordinationCoordinate technology support and installation activities with technicians and field personnelEnsure readiness of machine control systems, base/rover equipment, and software prior to deliveryPartner with technology specialists to support customer training and adoptionWork with Trimble and Caterpillar technology partners as neededInventory, Financial & Administrative ManagementManage branch inventory including receiving, tracking, transfers, and replenishmentOversee accuracy of work orders, invoicing, warranty claims, and rental transactionsSupport branch budget adherence, cost control, and profitability objectivesEnsure proper documentation and audit-ready processesPeople Development & PerformanceLead, coach, and develop branch employees including counter sales, warehouse, and support rolesSupport onboarding and training of new team membersConduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedbackAssist with succession planning and knowledge transfer within the branchOther RequirementsAbility to work in a branch and warehouse environmentAbility to lift and move moderate-weight equipment as neededOther duties as assignedWhat We Expect Of YouWe all have different backgrounds, yet we all use our unique contributions to provide the highest quality of service.Basic QualificationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE5+ years of experience in construction, heavy equipment, or technology-related operationsPrior supervisory or leadership experienceExperience working in a SITECH, Trimble, Caterpillar, or dealer environmentKnowledge, Technical Skill, & AbilitiesFamiliarity with ERP, CRM, and dealership business systemsUnderstanding of construction workflows and jobsite technology applicationsStrong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of construction technology solutions preferred (machine control, GPS, surveying, software)Ability to coordinate effectively across sales, service, and operations teamsStrong communication skills and professional demeanorWhat’s In It For YouAt Thompson Machinery, we believe that great benefits are more than just perks— they’re essential for employee well-being and success.
