Job Description TIG Welder – Stainless Steel (Food-Grade Equipment)Clean Shop | Climate Controlled | Great Benefits1st and 2nd shift - Will pay up to $35/hr.We're hiring a TIG Welder to join a growing team that builds high‑quality stainless steel equipment for the food industry. If you enjoy clean work, variety in your day, and welding that actually requires skill—not production burnout—this is the role for you.This is a hands-on welding role in a modern, well‑lit, climate‑controlled facility with strong long‑term opportunity.What You'll Be DoingTIG weld stainless steel, food‑grade process equipment (about 80% welding / 20% assembly)Weld and assemble stainless steel pipe and pipe components (acid‑resistant materials)Perform manual, pulsed, and mechanized TIG weldingRead and work from blueprints and fabrication drawingsEnter and exit tanks or vessels as required (non‑claustrophobic work)Perform in‑process quality checks to meet food‑industry standardsComplete basic documentation and rework paperworkParticipate in 5S / continuous improvement activitiesCross‑train and develop additional skills over timeWhat We're Looking ForTIG welding experience (stainless steel preferred)Ability to read blueprints and fabricate to specComfortable working in confined spacesPositive attitude and willingness to learnAble to pass a TIG weld test in the 6G position on 2½" Schedule 40 pipe with a 45&degree; bevelNice to Have (Not Required):Welding certification or technical degreeFood‑grade or sanitary welding experienceWork EnvironmentExceptionally clean and well‑lit facilityClimate controlled year‑roundOrganized workflow with clear quality standardsTeam‑oriented culture focused on safety and improvementApply TodayIf you're a TIG Welder who takes pride in clean welds, quality workmanship, and working in a professional environment, we want to hear from you.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glencoe, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
