AI Developer
Overview
As part of Goodwin's Digital & Technology team, you will design, build, and support AI-powered applications and automation to improve operations across the firm. You’ll translate business needs into scalable software, working with cross-functional stakeholders including legal and data teams. The role focuses on AI and agent-based systems, delivering reliable solutions from design to deployment. You’ll contribute to innovative AI products that advance the firm’s capabilities and efficiency in a global context.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain AI-powered applications and automation solutionsCollaborate with stakeholders to understand workflows and translate needs into technical designsDevelop components and integrations using Python, C#, TypeScript, React, APIsConfigure and support AI solutions with Microsoft Azure AI servicesAssist in RAG, prompt engineering, and agent workflows using LangChain/LangGraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, or LlamaIndexParticipate in architecture discussions and advocate for scalable, maintainable solutionsCreate and run unit/integration/validation tests to ensure qualityMonitor performance, troubleshoot, and implement improvements for user experienceAdhere to SDLC, change management, security, and operational standardsProduce and maintain technical documentation and deployment proceduresCollaborate with Information Security and other stakeholders on secure, compliant AI usageEngage in code reviews and drive continuous improvement of development practicesParticipate in pilots, PoCs, and tech evaluations related to AI and automationSupport user training and knowledge-sharing initiativesStay informed on emerging AI technologies and industry trends
Key requirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field2–4 years of professional software development experienceExperience with Python, C#, and/or TypeScriptExperience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft AzureExposure to AI, machine learning, LLMs, or intelligent automationExposure to AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, or LlamaIndexExperience working within a structured SDLC environmentProven ability to design, develop, test, and support software applicationsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsEffective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholdersDemonstrated accountability, collaboration, adaptability, and continuous learningAnalytical thinkingCollaborative mindsetAdaptabilityPythonC#TypeScript
