Or, as we like to put it: BENTELER makes it happen!Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Perform cycle counts for assigned part numbersBe a member of a plant CIP team to represent the Supply Chain Management team and be the point person for all Supply Chain related issuesMandatory participation in year end Physical Inventory (typically 1st or 2nd Saturday in December)Inserts, if necessary, customer data into SAP and ensures material availability for customer releases/call-offsEnsures faultless MRP (material requirement plan) and corrects mistakesSends releases/call-offs to suppliers and tracks on time delivery of materialsVerifies and manages material availabilityAvoids material shortageResponsible for planning trucking and sea freight utilization with customer specific cargo planningIn case of material shortage or delay - escalates in time, promptly and with high quality dataCross checks customer call offs vs. contracted volume / capacityMakes suggestions to reduce working capital (raw material, finished parts)Coordinates Process "Develop & Launch" activities including engineering changes, SOP and EOPManages the stocks days on handMakes sure the correct usage of SAP parameterConducts inventory spot checks, ASN verification and reconciliationUses customer portals accuratelyProvides support to all activities assigned by the direct supervisor.Qualifications and Experience: 3 years experience in Transportation, Customs, operational Shop Floor processesAssociates degree required.
