Job DescriptionThe Manager, Accounting – Latin America & Caribbean will oversee and support the accounting operations for Tiffany & Co.’s Latin America and Caribbean region, ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies, local statutory requirements, and internal control standards. This role will be responsible for managing the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting, supervising regional close activities, and supporting accounting operations across the region’s developing markets.The Manager will partner closely with regional and global Finance teams to ensure efficient accounting processes, timely reporting, audit readiness, and compliance with both local and corporate requirements. This position will also provide leadership and oversight to accounting staff supporting the region and will play a key role in driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.The Manager, Accounting – Latin America & Caribbean must be able to think strategically while remaining hands-on in overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities of the region. They will work collaboratively with both central and local teams in a transparent, united, and mutually supportive manner while championing Tiffany & Co.’s core belief, People Make the Difference, and values: Be Creative & Innovative, Deliver Excellence, and Cultivate an Entrepreneurial Spirit.Regional Accounting Oversight & Financial CloseOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for the Latin America and Caribbean region. Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules prepared by staff accountants. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of general ledger activity and financial reporting. Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items. Support accounting operations across new and existing regional markets.Compliance, Controls & Audit SupportEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS (where applicable), Group accounting policies, and local statutory requirements. Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures across the region.Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities, including statutory audits and tax-related requests. Oversee compliance related to accounts payable, treasury, and local accounting obligations within the region. Partner with tax, legal, and corporate finance teams to support local regulatory requirements.Business Partnership & Process ImprovementPartner with Finance, Operations, and Corporate teams to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencies. Act as a subject matter expert for financial systems and reporting tools, including troubleshooting and system enhancements. Support implementation of new accounting processes, systems, and reporting requirements. Coach, develop, and provide oversight to accounting staff supporting the region.Assist leadership with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects, as needed.Required Qualifications:5+ years of accounting and/or financial reporting experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business AdministrationStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controlsExperience managing month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation processesExperience supervising or mentoring accounting staffStrong interpersonal skills and confidence working with senior management and cross-functional teams Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently with limited oversight/directionProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelExperience with ERP and reporting systems such as JDE and Business Objects preferredBilingual English and Spanish fluency requiredBilingualCPA preferredRetail industry experienceInternational and/or Latin America business experienceExperience supporting multi-market accounting operationsPortuguese a plus
