Our Client, a Material Engineering company, is looking for an Assembler for their Rochester, NY location.Responsibilities:The assembler will be responsible for assembling electromechanical prototype products in an engineering lab environment.The candidate will be required to meet with project stake holders on a regular basis to understand daily tasks in a fast-paced engineering environment.Follow verbal and written process steps for assembling prototype productsCollaborating with design and manufacturing engineers to develop best assembly practices for new productsPresent proposals for assembly process changes that help reduce product cost and assembly timeRedline assembly procedures and Bill of Materials based on findings.Assist Manufacturing Engineers with developing work cellsRequirements:5+ years of electronics and/or electromechanical work experienceAssociate degree or degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering a plusExperience with various hand tools, screwdrivers, torque drivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.PCBA through hole and SMT certifications and experience is a plusFabrication skills such as using a hand drill or drill press a plusFamiliarity with production and product lean principals a plusGood communication skills (verbal and written)Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensusWhy Should You Apply?Excellent growth and advancement opportunitiesICONMA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
