Lead AI&T EngineerLos Angeles, CAWe are supporting an emerging spacecraft company seeking a Lead AI&T Engineer to drive spacecraft assembly, integration, and testing activities across advanced orbital programs.This is a highly hands-on leadership role focused on spacecraft build execution, environmental testing, and cross-functional systems integration.ResponsibilitiesLead spacecraft assembly, integration, and environmental test campaigns.Oversee MGSE design and EGSE coordination activities.Support spacecraft structural development and hardware integration.Develop integration procedures and cleanroom processes.Coordinate multidisciplinary subsystem integration activities.Ensure compliance with spacecraft testing and quality standards.Mentor junior engineers and support technical development.Requirements5–10 years of spacecraft AI&T or mechanical engineering experience.Hands-on spacecraft integration and testing background required.Experience with environmental testing and spacecraft structures.Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or NX.Familiarity with NASA GEVS standards.Experience operating in cleanroom environments.US Person status required.Why Join?Join a rapidly scaling spacecraft startup with ambitious flight programs.Broad technical ownership across spacecraft lifecycle.Work alongside experienced spaceflight engineers on cutting-edge missions.Opportunity to influence company processes and engineering culture.If you think that you could be a fit, we’d love to hear from you.
