Patient Representative

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Patient Representative to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and exceptional customer service to patients in a medical setting. The position is Patient Account Representative, they must have experience with Medical Billing, Insurance and self-pay collections. They must be comfortable making a high volume of calls and working with computers utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel. Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities: · Professional written and verbal communication skills. · Demonstrate the ability to work quickly and accurately with numerical data. · Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient, personnel, and proprietary information. · Ability to maintain therapeutic and professional relationships with staff, patients and consumers. · Knowledge of and adherence to company safety practices. Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent. Licensure/Certification: · None required. · Prefer Current Tennessee Driver’s License (Required for staff on Driver’s List) Experience: · Minimum of 1 years experience in medical and/or psychiatric billing. · Minimum of 1 year experience with personal computers, including Word and Excel software. · Significant healthcare billing experience required (Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurance) hospital experience preferred · MedSeries 4 patient accounting system experience a plus Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: Franklin, TN 37067: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
