If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.Special Requirements: Required Work Setting Experience: Med/Surg. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills/Experience: Colostomy care, Feeding tube care and management. Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Required Medication Experience: Heparin, Insulin, PCA. Required Neurological/Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury. Experience with Surgical drains required. Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, Tracheostomy Management. Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Continuous Bladder Irrigation experience required. Cerner experience required. Teaching Hospital Experience Preferred.
