The Chief Nursing Officer Surgery will oversee nursing leadership across a South Campus with 31 inpatient beds treating approximately 5,500 visits annually, as well as a North Campus with 14 inpatient beds and a lower-volume emergency department supporting approximately 10 visits per month. Across both campuses, the Surgical Services CNO will support a surgical enterprise performing approximately 27,000 annual cases spanning Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Breast Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Interventional Pain, ENT, and a fully established da Vinci robotic surgery program, creating a dynamic and high-volume surgical leadership environment.The Surgical Services CNO will serve as an executive leader responsible for nursing and clinical operations across all surgical services, reporting into senior hospital leadership while partnering closely with physicians, anesthesia teams, and operational executives. The Chief Nursing Officer Surgery will guide a multidisciplinary nursing leadership team and frontline staff across perioperative, inpatient, ICU, and emergency services, ensuring alignment in staffing strategy, clinical quality, regulatory readiness, and performance improvement. This role is best suited for a highly engaged, hands-on leader who brings strong surgical services experience, a systems-thinking approach, and the ability to translate data, technology, and operational insights into measurable improvements in patient care and throughput.The Surgical Services CNO opportunity is ideal for a leader who has previously served as a CNO, Associate Chief Nursing Officer, or senior-level surgical services executive within a hospital or physician-aligned environment. The Chief Nursing Officer Surgery should bring a strong foundation in surgical nursing operations, ideally with exposure to for-profit or physician-owned healthcare models, along with demonstrated success in high-volume OR environments.
