Welder/Fabricator

Job Description We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in welding and fabrication processes, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform Mig welding and truck upfits including electrical components, hydraulic components and body installation Fabricate components according to specifications Operate machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for shaping and cutting materials. Conduct machining operations as required for project completion. Utilize forklifts safely for material handling within the workshop. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards. Requirements Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Familiarity with operating press brake machines, plasma cutting equipment, and other fabrication tools. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during fabrication processes.
