About the Opportunity:Saratech is seeking a Systems Engineer with strong Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) leadership and implementation experience to drive the adoption and maturation of MBSE practices across the organization. Salary Range: $90 per hour (On-Site in Irvine, CA, 12+ month Contract) Duties and Responsibilities: Drive the implementation and adoption of MBSE methodologies, processes, and tools across the organization.Serve as an internal MBSE subject-matter expert and champion, providing technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to systems and engineering teams. Develop and implement MBSE strategies, workflows, standards, and best practices appropriate for the organization and its products. Lead efforts to integrate MBSE into the broader systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, design, interfaces, verification, and validation.Develop and maintain system models using CAMEO while ensuring models provide meaningful value throughout the product development lifecycle. Define processes for connecting system models with requirements, engineering documentation, analysis, and verification activities. Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes through increased use of MBSE and model-based workflows. Work directly with engineering leadership and multidisciplinary teams to drive organizational change and adoption of MBSE practices.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Demonstrated professional experience in Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Proven experience implementing, deploying, and driving adoption of MBSE within an engineering organization. Experience establishing or improving MBSE processes, methodologies, standards, and best practices. Strong proficiency with CAMEO Systems Modeler is required.Experience with thermal management systems or other complex multidisciplinary systems preferred. Experience with IBM DOORS preferred.
