Alongside Blue Moon Estate Sales, we also work closely with our sister brands, creating opportunities to expand relationships and serve clients in multiple ways.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Estate Sale Operations & Business Development Manager to lead estate sale operations while helping grow the Blue Moon Estate Sales and affiliated brands throughout the Greater Minneapolis–St. Paul area.This is a year-round, mostly full-time position, with schedules varying based on sales activity. Typical workloads range from 25–35 hours per week, with 50+ hour weeks possible during busy sale periods. During slower weeks, time will shift toward networking, community outreach, relationship building, marketing efforts, and growing the Blue Moon and Hauling It Away brands.This role combines operations, leadership, sales, client relations, and business development. Organization, flexibility, and initiative are essential.Primary Responsibilities:Business Development & NetworkingBuild relationships with realtors, senior living communities, attorneys, financial planners, movers, and other referral partnersRepresent and grow the Blue Moon Estate Sales and Hauling It Away brands in the communityIdentify opportunities for partnerships and business growthSupport local marketing and brand awareness initiativesEstate Sale OperationsOversee all estate sale projects from consultation through completionManage scheduling, staffing, logistics, and execution of salesEnsure every sale is properly staffed, organized, and operating smoothlyLead and manage a small team while maintaining accountability and performanceCoordinate setup periods (typically Monday–Thursday) and oversee sale days (Friday–Saturday)While not required to physically attend every event, maintain ownership and responsibility for the successful executionClient Relations & ConsultationsConduct free in-home consultations with prospective clientsBuild trust with families navigating downsizing, moving, or estate transitionsAssess projects and communicate service recommendations professionallyMaintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the processCreate systems and processes to improve efficiencyCoordinate multiple projects simultaneouslyManage calendars, staffing schedules, inventory flow, and timelinesHelp build a scalable operation as the company continues to growQualifications:(Experience is helpful but not required.
