Encapsulation Operator - 2nd shift

*Encapsulation Operator – 2nd Shift * The Encapsulation Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining high‑speed encapsulation machinery to ensure consistent capsule quality and compliance with cGMP standards. *Location:* Edison, NJ 08817 *Schedule:* Monday–Friday 1:30pm-9:30pm *Pay: *$22.70 (training rate) $26 per after hire rate *ENCAPSULATION OPERATOR* *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* * Setup/operate manual encapsulation machine * Verify the correct blend, capsule size and origin are utilized * Feed material into hopper at the start up and throughout the duration of the run * Submit samples to QC for approval * Maintain weight control, closing station, empty capsule magazine and capsule polisher during operation * Any deviation of weight, improper sealing or other job function is to be reported immediately to the manufacturing lead or supervisor * Responsible for in process logs and machine down time * Must remain at machine at all times during machine operation * Responsible for machine routine maintenance and clearing by following SOP instructions * Responsible for in process sampling requirements * Ensure all drums are properly labeled * Ensure work area is clean and maintained in a c GMP environment * Ensure equipment usage and room logs are properly maintained * Other duties as assigned *Experience:* * Manufacturing of solid dosage or pharmaceutical experience preferred *KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:* * Must be able to move 50lbs * Must be able to bend, stretch and stand for extended periods of time during shift * Must have good oral communication skills to be able to complete work assignments as instructed * Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions in English. * Well skilled in mathematical calculations *Why Work With Proman Staffing* * *Weekly Pay* — consistent, reliable pay every week. * *Temp‑to‑Hire Opportunities* — real pathways to long‑term, stable employment. * *Full Benefits Available* — medical, dental, vision, and more once eligible. * *Local Support Team* — Somerset staff available to assist you throughout your assignment. * *Safe, Reputable Worksites* — partners that follow strict GMP and safety standards. * *Streamlined Hiring Process* — fast screening and quick start dates. *Walk‑In Applications Welcome* Apply in person *Monday–Friday, 9:00am–3:00pm*. *Proman Staffing – Somerset Office* *84 Veronica Ave, Somerset, NJ 08873* Bring your *ID* and *resume*.
