Duties
Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach, telemarketing, and retail sales environments to generate new leads and expand client base
Conduct thorough analysis of clients’ health insurance needs to recommend appropriate plans that align with their personal or business requirements
Negotiate policy terms and premium rates with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining compliance with industry regulations
Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) standards
Communicate complex insurance concepts clearly and effectively to clients in multiple languages if applicable, ensuring they understand coverage options and benefits
Assist clients with benefits administration, including explaining plan features, enrollment procedures, and ongoing support for policy changes or claims
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and fostering long-term client relationships
Requirements
Excellent negotiation skills combined with strong communication abilities to articulate value propositions convincingly
Familiarity with sales administration processes and analysis skills for evaluating client needs and insurance options
Knowledge of insurance sales practices along with an understanding of benefits administration and customer service principles
Ability to navigate HIPAA regulations diligently while handling sensitive client information securely
Strong marketing skills to promote insurance products effectively across various channels
Prior experience in benefits administration or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
