Founded over 30 years ago, Design Synthesis has evolved into a dynamic, quality-focused manufacturing company with many diverse associations with industry leading architects, designers, and contractors. In this role, the successful candidate will: Receive incoming orders from suppliers, confirm, label and store appropriately. Track and query status of orders from suppliers Create Purchase Orders for required materials from diverse vendors. Call suppliers, finds prices and availability, research needed parts, materials, and supplies Perform data entry using a proprietary system to process inventory and maintain stock level data. Gather parts for jobs in process, store to marked locations Maintain an orderly storeroom and related materials storage, prepare packages for the jobsites. What does it take to be successful? High school diploma or equivalent required. One plus years of experience working in a manufacturing-centric environment preferred. Organizational skills and problem solving with an ability to work independently Basic familiarity with computers and basic computer software. Ability and desire to learn. Comfortable using phone for material availability and price inquiries.
