Engineering Technician IV - Semiconductor

Seeking a skilled Semiconductor Equipment Technician with a strong background in repairing, maintaining, and replacing complex mechanical and electrical equipment components. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of hands-on experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry and a passion for technical problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.Utilize electronic testing tools to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.Communicate effectively with customers, explaining technical issues clearly and providing comprehensive training on equipment usage and maintenance.Travel domestically and internationally as needed, sometimes on short notice, to support customer needs and equipment installations.Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment.Proficiency in using electronic testing tools for diagnostics and repairs.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical customers.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; willingness to travel.Nice to Have:Familiarity with Linux for operating and troubleshooting system equipment.Additional technical experience in specialized fields such as optics, lasers, or robotics.Expertise in precision mechanical work, particularly in fine adjustments and calibrations.Previous experience in customer support or management of customer-facing roles.Experience working in cleanroom environments with full protective gear (facemask, gloves, safety glasses).
