We look for people who bring a hands on mindset, technical skill, and a commitment to quality on every job.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction and fire protection projects from planning through closeout. The role is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards while coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and clients. The ideal candidate combines strong construction management experience with specific knowledge of fire protection systems and relevant codes and standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of construction and fire protection projects from pre-construction through closeout.Manage project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants; assign tasks, monitor progress, and resolve conflicts to keep projects on track.Develop, maintain, and report project schedules, cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and change order logs.Ensure compliance with fire protection codes (e.g., NFPA), building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.Coordinate procurement and logistics for materials and equipment, including review of submittals, shop drawings, and testing requirements.Conduct site inspections and progress meetings; identify and mitigate risks, resolve site issues, and enforce safety and quality controls.Prepare and review project documentation including contracts, scopes of work, RFIs, daily reports, and closeout packages.Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships through clear communication, regular updates, and proactive problem solving.QualificationsBachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; equivalent experience considered.5+ years of project management experience in construction with demonstrated experience on fire protection projects (sprinkler, standpipe, suppression systems, detection).Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontracts, and change management on mid-to-large scale projects.Working knowledge of NFPA standards, local building codes, and OSHA safety requirements.Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) and familiarity with AutoCAD or BIM is a plus.Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, NICET (fire protection), or relevant state licenses are preferred.Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites as required.BenefitsHealthVision DentalPTOBonusVehicleGas CardRelocation
