Electrical Control Engineer
The main function of a controls engineer is to design, develop, install, and maintain equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems and processes.Job Responsibilities:Assists in creating and following electrical design schedule, from specification concept to system up completion, while keeping to an overall project schedule.Testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating products and instruments.Analyze plant processes, design and implement improvementsTroubleshooting issues with hardware and processes.Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design including electrical requirements, robotic safety standards, and motor controls.Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed.Skills:Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time.Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.Technical proficiency in some software applications..Education & Experience Required: Years of experience: 2-4 yearsDegree requirement: Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or related curriculumTop 3 Skills:Analytical ThinkingManaging Multiple PrioritiesProduct Design and DevelopmentAdditional Technical Skills (Required)Controls experienceSimulink experience(Desired) Proficiency in CanapeExcellent analytical skillsStrong understanding of engine and aftertreatment systems.Ability to draw conclusions from analysis and make decisionsSoft Skills(Required)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to adjust to multiple demands, changing priorities, multitask effectivelyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsQuick learner(Desired) Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skillsSelf-starter with strong technical leadership skillsAbility to communicate technical information effectively with team members and others in the work group, as well as employees in other units, customers, and suppliers
