Trueline's client, a family-owned plaintiff personal injury firm with a collaborative team environment and strong internal support resources, is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to join their Lakewood, NJ team. This role will support a local attorney on a mostly pre-litigation caseload with some litigation exposure, offering flexibility after initial training and strong long-term earning potential.CAN BE REMOTE AFTER 1 WEEK OF TRAININGMUST HAVE 3 YEARS OF PI EXPERIENCE IN NEW JERSEY!What You'll Do as the Personal Injury Paralegal:Manage a personal injury caseload in partnership with the assigned attorneySupport cases involving motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and other plaintiff PI mattersTrack deadlines, case progress, medical records, PIP issues, and documentation needsCommunicate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and internal team membersPrepare and organize case materials for attorney review, demand packages, and litigation needsHelp keep cases moving efficiently from intake through resolutionMust-Haves as the Personal Injury Paralegal:3-5 years of personal injury paralegal experienceNew Jersey personal injury experienceWorking knowledge of NJ and PA PIP lawsExperience obtaining, reviewing, and organizing medical recordsFamiliarity with medical billing and insurance documentationAbility to manage deadlines and case flow with limited hand-holdingStrong communication skills and comfort working directly with clientsNice-to-Haves as the Personal Injury Paralegal:Plaintiff-side personal injury experienceLitigation exposureDefense-side personal injury experience with transferable skillsExperience supporting a high-volume or fast-paced PI practiceAbility to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting after trainingOur Client Offers:$65K-$80K base compensation, based on experienceBonus eligibility after the first yearHealth, dental, and vision benefits401(k)Initial in-office training, with hybrid or fully remote flexibility after ramp-upStable, family-oriented culture with a collaborative atmosphereOpportunity to work closely with an attorney and take ownership of meaningful casework
