Bartender - PF Chang's - Seattle Tacoma International Airport- Temporary

Essential Job DutiesEnsures each guest receives superior service by creating a friendly environment, including promptly recognizing and greeting guests with a smile in accordance with established service standards. Communicates menu offerings clearly and effectively, including explaining items and suggestively selling food, beverages, and promotions. Takes orders and prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company and brand standards. Maintains a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar, including required mixers, supplies, and garnishes. Accurately completes cash-handling duties, including processing payments, maintaining required documentation, and presenting checks to guests. Coordinates with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate service and maintains a neat, clean workstation at all times. Complies with all alcohol awareness guidelines and procedures related to the purchase and service of alcoholic beverages. Follows safe food-handling practices and maintains proper personal hygiene standards. Adheres to workplace safety standards when operating and maintaining equipment and reports any equipment malfunctions to management immediately. Completes opening and/or closing side work according to established checklists. Assists in training new bartenders and servers on company standards, policies, and procedures, as assigned, and completes required training documentation. Performs other duties as assigned. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required; or six (6) months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required SkillsMust meet state minimum age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages. Ability to obtain required alcohol awareness certification. Knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor. Ability to effectively interact with guests, coworkers, and management. Strong commitment to delivering a superior guest experience. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with guests and coworkers. Ability to understand the English language, both written and verbal. Math SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
