Our mission is to deliver the perfect patient experience every time.You’ll Make An Impact ByThe Senior Director of Education and Training is responsible for education, ongoing competency development, and professional advancement of providers, clinical and front desk staff within the clinics. This role is to ensure our center teams deliver high-quality, evidence-based, and compliant care aligned with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in urgent care medicine. The Senior Director of Education and Training is responsible for a balanced portfolio of clinical, administrative, and educational responsibilities in support of provider development and operational excellence. The successful candidate will collaborate with Medical Leadership, Operations, Compliance and Quality to support clinical excellence, provider performance, and patient safety across all locations.What You Will DoClinical Education & Program Leadership Lead onboarding, orientation, and ongoing clinical education for medical providers and staff Develop and deliver standardized clinical education, skills training, and competency validation programs Oversee and maintain CRH’s Medical Provider Residency Program (three cohorts annually) Ensure all education aligns with evidence-based practice, urgent care standards, and organizational protocols Educate providers on scope of practice, clinical decision-making, documentation, and risk mitigation; identify gaps and implement targeted education plans Evaluate program effectiveness, track education completion, competencies, and outcomes Support development of policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines related to provider education Advise on non-provider clinical training, front desk operations, billing, and codingProvider Development & SupportServe as a clinical mentor and clinical resource for medical providersSupport medical providers with clinical questions, case reviews, and practice guidancePartner with Medical Directors and Operations to support provider growth and retentionAssist with remediation, mentoring, and monitoring plans as needed (e.g., PMMP, PIP support)Promote professional development and continuing education opportunitiesQuality, Safety & CompliancePartner with Quality, Compliance, and Legal teams to address trends, events, and opportunities for improvementParticipate in internal processes and provider performance initiatives as assignedSupport initiatives to improve clinical outcomes, patient experience, and quality metricsEnsure medical provider education aligns with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirementsLeadership & CollaborationProvide strategic leadership and collaborate with Medical Leadership, Operations, HR, Compliance and legal to align on education initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements Advocate for education needs across departments and ensure smooth coordination between clinical and non-clinical teams Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and excellence in clinical practice and educationServe as a clinical subject matter expert for urgent care operations and education initiativesWhat You’ll BringMinimum of 7 years of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or comparable acute care settingDemonstrated experience in medical provider education, precepting, mentoring, or clinical leadershipExperience with competency-based education and clinical program developmentStrong knowledge of urgent care workflows, clinical presentations, and risk managementPrior formal educator role or leadership experienceCurrent, unrestricted license as a Registered NurseKey Skills & RequirementsTravel between clinicsFlexible schedule to accommodate education needs; including occasional evenings or weekendsExpertise in adult learning principles, curriculum development, and educational designExcellent communication, teaching, and people skillsLeadership and team collaborationData-informed decision-making to evaluate program effectivenessConflict resolution and coachingStrong documentation and organizational skillsAbility to balance clinical education, quality, and operational prioritiesPreferredCurrent, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantBoard certification in relevant specialty (e.g., FNP, PA-C)Familiarity with quality improvement, peer review, and medical provider performance managementKnowledge of medical billing and medical coding
