Maintenance Controls Technicians

Electrical Maintenance TechnicianUnderstands and follows safety policies and procedures. Performs all tasks safely and does not take risks as it pertains to safety. Leads by example. Identifies safety risks and works to reduce risks in behavior, equipment and processes. Supports all safety practices and procedures.Communicates effectively with operations personnel to identify and resolve abnormal or degraded equipment conditions that could negatively impact safety, quality or productivity.Execute electrical maintenance repairs, modifications, emergency repairs, keep maintenance records and completes all necessary documentation.Participates in proactive maintenance activities such as FMEAs, RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action), Analytical Troubleshooting (ATS)Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specificationsTroubleshoot, install, maintain and repair all facility electrical wiring, components, apparatus, control equipment, solid-state, electrical switchgear, electric motors, electrical-pneumatic control systems, etc.Maintain and repair electrical controls, motors, air compresses, transformers, belts, and other complex electromechanical systemsMeet all requirements of the established preventive maintenance programGuide purchasing department on equipment and electrical parts and creates purchase requisitions for replacement parts.Inspecting, overhauling, lubricating and cleaning motors and controls on electronic and electrical equipment.Perform inspections and cleaning of all electrically and electronically operated equipment.
