Job DescriptionCertification DetailsBLSACLSAWHONNNRPPALSJob DetailsRegistered Nurse position in Labor & Delivery specialty at Starr Regional Medical Center, Athens, TN.Facility has two campuses: Athens (acute care with emergency, inpatient, outpatient services) and Etowah (emergency, outpatient, skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatric behavioral health, Advanced Wound Care Center).Role requires experience and confidence to work independently.Serves all ages in patient population.Job RequirementsMust have 2+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery specialty.Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS.Must hold Registered Nurse License in Tennessee.Must be willing to float and take PostPartum as needed.Schedule Information36 hours per week guaranteed.Weekend hours every other weekend or as needed.Call requirements as needed.Unit Specific InformationUnit: Labor & Delivery (5460 (707) L&D).Number of openings: 1.EHR systems: MedHost, Centricity Perinatal.Patient population: Serves all ages.Float requirements: As needed, must be willing to take PostPartum.Professional, team player personality fit.Additional DetailsOrientation is bi-weekly on Mondays.Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered Travel.All clinical staff must be checked against Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start date; results required prior to start.Dress code: Any scrub color; no camo or logo shirts/sweatshirts other than Starr Regional.
