Legal Receptionist
Position Overview:We are seeking a polished, highly organized, and client-focused Legal Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our law firm. This role is essential to the daily operations of the firm and includes receptionist duties, administrative support, and executive assistance to the firm's owner. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:• Greet and assist clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner• Answer and direct incoming phone calls; take and relay accurate messages• Schedule and confirm appointments and consultations for attorneys and staff• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area• Process, scan, and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail and courier deliveries• Track and maintain inventory of office supplies; order items as needed• Support executive administrative needs of the firm’s owner, including calendar management, personal task coordination, email management, and confidential communications• Coordinate with vendors, including IT management company and courier services• Assist with general administrative duties such as document preparation, scanning, filing, and data entry• Monitor firm email and route inquiries appropriately• Ensure timely and organized filing of client documents in the case management system• Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and internal firm mattersQualifications:• Prior experience in a receptionist, executive assistant, or administrative support role (law firm experience preferred)• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic office technology• Familiarity with legal case management systems (e.g., Docketwise, MyCase) is a plus• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Urdu/Punjabi) is strongly preferred• Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion• Proactive, adaptable, and team-orientedWhat We Offer:• Competitive hourly rate or salary, based on experience• A supportive and mission-driven work environment• Training and opportunities for professional development• The chance to be part of a firm that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of immigrant familiesTo apply, please send your resume and a brief cover letter to noa@yunuslaw.com.
